Physio Chrissy Pilcher

Chrissy graduated from the University of Brighton in 2013 with an MSc in Rehabilitation Science (Physiotherapy). She has spent the past 8 years working in a private practice in London specialising in the treatment of back pain and spinal conditions such as scoliosis and hyperkyphosis.  Chrissy has previously worked within the NHS providing rehabilitation to those recently discharged from hospital and to people who are at risk of falls. She has now moved back to her original roots on the south coast, with her young family to enjoy some fresh sea air and be closer to family.

Chrissy is a specialist in postural assessment and the treatment of both muscular imbalance and movement dysfunction. She enjoys utilising her background in exercise rehabilitation, in conjunction with soft tissue release and hands-on therapy to restore normal movement and function.

Chrissy is always looking to expand her knowledge and skillset and has completed additional training in the assessment and treatment of the sacroiliac joint, joint mobilisation techniques, rehabilitation for runners, strength & conditioning, sports massage and acupuncture.

Chrissy has also completed her APPI training in Pilates Matwork.

Chrissy likes keeping active and enjoys a variety of sports including tennis, netball, swimming, and running, as well as completing resistance-based exercises and Pilates. She is passionate about living life to the full and loves being able to help others do the same.
